Winter Trip to Spain - Day 43 - 21/12/2022

Another beautiful sunrise to start the day.

Eight of us had a trip out to Alicante today on the tram / train. Walked to the station and got the tram / train from Les Coves and changed at Benidorm station. €4.80 each return, so cheap. You buy the tickets on the tram / train iteslef, either using a machine or from a conductor, all very straightforward.

The journey was about an hour, lucky that we had such beautiful coastal views on the way.

Approach to Alicante

A brief walk around Alicante, such an amazing place, magnificant architecture, interesting mushrooms along the yellow brick road, and so much more to see that we just didn't manage to get around to, we will definitely have to visit again.

We obviously had to stop for some refreshments that included dark Leffe. Loved the unique signs on the loos doors.

Traveled back to Benidorm, and the beautiful lights of the Old Town
