Winter Trip to Spain - Day 10 - 18/11/2022

I think you all jinxed me last night.  Today we have been travelling through the mountains, in pouring rain and the temperature dropped to 6 degrees 😱

We headed to Tereul this morning, where we went over lots of viaducts - Chris seems to be getting over his fear of heights 😊.  The stopovers in Tereul didn’t look great, and to be honest, we think it’s probably due to us not really feeling comfortable in large towns.  So we did some food shopping, had lunch and carried on driving.

We hadn’t actually planned on driving so far, but with the weather being awful and Tereul being too busy for us, we ended up driving all the way to Parcent, going from the dry sandy land with vineyards and olive trees to more green areas with orange trees. The houses were on the mountain side and looked a lot more populated .

We have stayed here before, it’s a pub / restaurant run by an English family.  During covid they made changes and decorated the bar area, and it is more of a restaurant now.  It looks great and the food is still amazing - all 8 courses, and we'd only ordered 3 🥰
