Days 169 to 175 - 15th to 21st October 2019 - Benidorm, Spain

With being in Benidorm for the whole of October, I have decided to do the blogs week by week as we plan on chilling and won’t have a lot to write about 😊

Week 3 back in Arena Blanc, Benidorm was much better than last week, although I did have a little wobble, feeling quite low, whilst reflecting on last week 😢- still, need to move on and be more positive again 😊

On Tuesday 15th October, I had a tidy up outside as the rain and wind had made quite a mess, although you wouldn’t have thought how bad the weather had been with the sun being back out this morning.

Tonight, we went for our first game of bingo on another campsite nearby. A couple off our campsite site run it, and were going home later this week for hospital appointments, so we thought we would give it a try before they left. We came close a few times, but had no winners 🙄.

We had a lovely sunset again and then the evening turned really cold, looks like the evening weather is beginning to change, luckily the days are still lovely and warm 😎.

On Wednesday 16th October, we made our way to meet another couple of friends who are over here on holiday. We caught the bus early afternoon with the intention of just having a couple of drinks with them - well, it was after midnight when we left them 🙈. It was a great afternoon / evening, although we suffered for it the following day 🤦‍♀️🙇‍♂️.

On Saturday 19th October, we made it out for a lovely lunch, feeling fully recovered.

On Sunday 20th October, we had a walk to the flea market. There were a few entertaining singers / performers on today.

There was just the one embarrassing moment when I was videoing the singers, and a chap standing nearby was trying to get the attention of someone behind us, and was frantically waving, so naturally I waved back, and one of the singers thought I was waving to him, and he smiled, waved back, blew a kiss and made a heart 🤣

The sangria went down well again today and we managed to say hi to our favourite waitress.

Looked like another storm heading our way going back to the campsite 🌂
