We had an early breakfast with Ash, Kirsty and Izzy before having to wave them off on their coach to go home. The flood gates opened then, it was so hard to see them go. We have had such a lovely time with them and made so many more beautiful memories - it won’t be too long for Christmas, when we will see them again 🥰
We then packed up the Motorhome and headed south to Pulpi de Mar, where some friends of ours were staying. We had problems finding the apartments, but eventually arrived at the right place.
Chris was very hungry, so we went to have a quick meal, and then joined our friends for a drink in a Belgium bar.
We were then going to have a swim with them in their pool, but Chris suddenly felt very homesick, and the heat was getting to him, and we decided to move on instead.
We headed north and Chris said that he would stop when the temperature reached 24 degrees. It took until about 8:30 pm for this to happen, and we stopped at a place called Castalla, and had a great view of the castle.
We were now in a typical Spanish area, so was pleased surprised to see a couple of Irish sisters already parked up, who were slowly making their way south.
We were also in the area of the church bells, which rang every quarter of an hour. There were 2 churches nearby which both rang their bells, but were slightly out of synch - it was lovely to hear though, and didn’t disturb us during the night.
