We leave the campsite today - it has been lovely to stay in one place for a few weeks and spend time with people, getting to know them, and also seeing more of an area than we have previously. The hot temperatures have restricted us a little though, so we may have to come back when it is a little cooler.
We did some last minute washing, including bedding / towels, making the most of the campsite facilities and with being able to dry everything so quickly, it wasn’t a difficult job.
We said our goodbyes to Iris and John as they went out for a walk - we will miss them, but we have our memories of the time we spent with them to cherish.
We left the site at midday, and went to top up the gas in the Motorhome and get some bottles of water for later, and then made our way to the hotel. We checked in, had a late lunch and then enjoyed the air conditioning in our room for a couple of hours.

The excitement was building as we were so looking forward to seeing our family; Ash, Kirsty and Izzy after 3 months, I felt physically sick !
We had received regular updates throughout the day; they were on the way to the airport, at the gate in the airport, landing in Spain, on the coach, getting close to the hotel. We anxiously waited for them outside, and then they appeared to our left, the coach had dropped them around the corner.
As soon as I spotted them, I just ran, I couldn’t even get the words out to tell Chris I had seen them. It was so good to hold them, and I must admit, I did shed a few tears of happiness.
They checked in, took their cases to their room and we went for dinner, and then a drink by the pool while we caught up. It is lovey to be together with them again 🥰
Have an amazing time all of you x
