Day 79 - 17/07/19 - Benidorm, Spain

I can’t believe how hot it is and it stays hot for 24 hours - there really is no let up. We usually cope fine with it when there is a cold pool to cool off in, and an air conditioned room to sleep in. I don’t think either of us realised just how hot it would be and how hard it would be to get cool 🥵!

Needless to say, today was mainly spent sunbathing and dips in the pool, even had a cold shower at one point to see if that would make any difference.

The good thing about not sleeping very well, is hearing the dawn chorus - it really is beautiful- it’s the only time we really hear them to be honest.

This evening we caught a bus to the old town and had a meal in a Chinese restaurant which we went to with friends when we came in January - the food was just as good as we had experienced back then !
