Day 77 - 15/07/19 - Benidorm, Spain

We started off with a full English breakfast, and went to a local camping shop to see if we could get a spare regulator - with having to replace 2 already, we need to have a spare one with us. They only had Spanish ones, so we will have to get a couple ordered from back home.

As we came back into the campsite, we saw our neighbours by the pool, so we had a drink with them and then got changed for the pool, and then had another drink 😳. They’re a bad influence, our neighbours 🤣.

We sunbathed for the rest of the day, as we listened to the karaoke, and then the neighbours shouted over to us, to see if we were going to the quiz in a local bar, which Chris had mentioned earlier - we weren’t that bothered to be honest, with drinking earlier, but felt that we should go. So, a quick shower and off we went.

We did quite well in the music quiz, and then came joint 2nd in the ‘higher/lower’ quiz. The couple who actually won, brought their winning bottle of fizz over to us before they left, saying that they had 2 others already - how kind of them 🍾

We both then had separate winners on the horse racing - the prize is money to spend behind the bar, as apparently you aren’t supposed to win money here except in the casinos (but we know it goes on 😉).

So, we spent our joint winnings and then headed back - we had a great night, and were so glad that they twisted our arm to go out with them.
