A couple who have been here for 6 weeks, headed back home this morning - it will be strange not to see them around. We said our goodbyes and headed out for an English breakfast.
We then had a walk to the outdoor market in town - it was enormous - all the usual stalls you expect to find, and pleased to say that no one hassled us, we really do not enjoy being hassled to buy things. It was so hot still, and only ended up buying cold bottles of water !
I still love the beautiful views we can see - Benidorm itself is so built up, and you have the mountains in the background.
After the market, we headed further into Benidorm and had a beer before walking back to the site. We walked just under 6 miles today - I love it, but Chris does tend to struggle with the heat.
This evening, we went to check out the food at a campsite nearby, as we had heard a few people talking about it, but they only seemed to be serving the basics, so we didn’t stay. We ended up eating at the ‘restaurant’ on our site - the food is lovely and the drinks very cheap €2 for a beer and €1 for a wine.

I know I may have had a few glasses of wine, but I did chuckle when I updated my emails, and found 8 emails from someone I used to work with, saying that they had subscribed to our blog page - goodness knows what they had been drinking 🤣!
As the evening draws in, we begin to find out how many more times we have been bitten - they are so annoying and get so itchy at night - they look so ugly too 🙈
It was beautiful - caught my eye 🥰 x
Love the pink tree x
