Today we walked to a local flea market which we had been told about. On the way we met a couple who were also in their way to the flea market. The lady struggled to walk and had a wheelchair. She was actually using the wheelchair as support when we met them. The chap started to chat to us as we walked along, and before you knew you we were quite ahead of his wife, and he suddenly realised and ran back to her lol ! She then told us that the other day when he was pushing her in the wheelchair, he stopped to look at something, but didn’t put the break on and she went sailing down the road - I don’t know if he was trying to tell her something !

There was quite a lot of interesting things to see at the flea market, as we had a gentle stroll around it. We saw some tea pots, so Chris had to take a look as he used to dip tea pots. The stall owner quickly told us the tea pots were from Stoke - glad they are still being brought, but unfortunately he told us that the prices are rising and his profit margins are getting less and less.

We brought a couple of half pint beer jugs, to remind me of the Black Lion back home.

We then had a drink and some paella while we were being entertained by an Irish singer and a “dancer” - she was really enjoying herself, and even had a change of clothes while we were there. She wasn’t actually with the singer, but a customer who went there every week to let her hair down. A couple of more professional dancers then did a turn.

The waitress had looked after us well, and I gave her a tip. A few minutes later she turned up with another beer - she didn’t realise it had been a tip - she was doing a good job at getting us drunk lol ! I then gave her ‘another’ tip and made it clear this time that it was a tip and that we didn’t want more beer - she understood this time !

Afterwards we slowly walked back to the Motorhome and chilled for the rest of the afternoon. The sun is so hot here, that the bird poo is hard by the time it hits you - or maybe it was just falling from the trees !

The couple next to us, are here until the end of Oct and had brought an air conditioning unit for their Motorhome. Not to feel left out, Chris brought me a fan and water spray - he is so thoughtful.
