Another gorgeous day, and we took advantage of the slightly lower temperature and walked into town. It really does feel strange being here with the Motorhome. We were here in Jan celebrating a friend’s birthday (I won’t say how old he was !). The site is just outside the main hustle and bustle of the town, but close enough to walk to, so is ideal for us.
We went to see the hotel we stayed in, and also the one we will be staying in when our family come over 3 weeks today - we’re so excited to see them - we really can’t wait.

We then went for a walk along the promenade - it was absolutely beautiful. I think I’m beginning to feel like I’m on holiday now - it’s only taken 2 months lol !
It’s funny to hear so many English people here, and great to be able to communicate with them all, having not seen many at all over the last two months.
We have had a lovely time seeing all the pretty villages etc. on our journey, but we think during this hot summer we will just be spending more time in campsites and relaxing, and will then carry on once the temperatures cool down more.
Whilst I’m trying to get an all round tan as we are walking around, I think I’m going to have to invest in some longer shorts - my thighs are not as slim as they used to be, and rub together something rotten 😳🙈
As always, Chris’ log of steps and miles walked differs from mine and there is quite a difference even though we have walked more or less every step together - today he has walked 6.6 miles and I have walked 6.2 miles !
Tonight, we had a couple of beers and watched the English women’s football match against USA - unfortunately England lost ☹️.
We just about managed to see the sun go down behind the rock - beautiful !

No, but seen a lot of people on motorised scooters - they are everywhere! x
Have you seen any of the Benidorm actors from the tv series yet x
