Last night we had a very late night, drinking wine with our neighbours (Rob and Pauline) until the early hours. It was a lovely way to spend our last night on the site. However, Chris and Pauline were a little worse for wear this morning 🤣. Me and Chris had already been drinking rose and red wine, and then they brought a bottle of red for us all to share, that a couple on the site had given them, who have a vineyard and specialise in vegan / organic wine, and it was lovely. We then opened another bottle of rose and a bottle of white - oops !
Chris was still over the limit to drive this morning, so we chilled until he was reading zero on our breathalyser, before setting of towards Benidorm. I took a few photos of the van as the site had now emptied quite a bit.
We said our goodbyes to Pauline and Rob, exchanged emails and headed off.
The roads were much busier today, but the views were still amazing, and the colourful bushes in the central reservation are just beautiful
We arrived at the campsite late afternoon, and there were so many friendly English people on the site, all welcoming us to the site and happy to offer help and advice, as we had a good look around selecting a suitably shady pitch.
There was karaoke on in the bar, so we went for a beer and pizza and enjoyed listening to the singers, who I must say were extremely good at singing.
We finished the evening off relaxing by the Motorhome, it really is a hard life !
