Day 59 - 27/06/19 - Navajas, Spain

We’re happy to stay for a few more nights on this site as it has shaded pitches and a pool. We have electric too, so Chris is happy that he can have his Dyson fan on !

We had breakfast and then headed out on our bikes to see the waterfall nearby. I’m not convinced we went the right way, as the path along the river whilst beautiful, was not really bike friendly, with the rocks, steep drops and low hanging rocks - ended up having to push the bikes quite a bit. The waterfall was amazing, and lots of people were there enjoying the area, paddling in the water beneath the waterfall.

We found a road that led out from the waterfall, and followed that on the way back - it was so steep though - good job Chris had fixed my first gear !

We got to the top of the first road and found that that was the actual entrance. The campsite had given us a receipt to get in for free, and we did wonder where we were meant to give this in, as we had missed it with going the river route in.

We arrived back at the site and had a beer to cool off, and then went into the pool.

We had another BBQ with wine in the evening and watched England play Norway - it was a great game and brilliant result !
