We stayed another night in the camp site in Albarracin and used the washing machine as it was so hot again and the clothes would dry in no time.
We cycled into the village to buy some food for a BBQ, but there wasn’t any fresh meat in either of the 2 tiny grocery stores. However, they did have very cheap wine, so we brought some of that !
Whilst it wasn’t far back to the campsite, it was a hard up hill slog in the heat, and I couldn’t get my bike into first gear, so I had to do my best in second, and Chris had a look at it later.
We went to the restaurant on site for a meal in the evening. When we arrived, they had problems with some equipment in the kitchen, and Chris was itching to get in there and fix it, but he refrained ! After a short power cut, they got the equipment going and managed to cook our beautiful veal t bone steaks, which were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing.
After the meal, we saw Sue and Rob who we had met yesterday. They thought we had left and were so glad we hadn’t. We fetched our chairs and wine and joined them at their caravan for a drink and chat, it was a lovey evening. They have visited so many places, it was lovely to hear their stories.
You never know what you are going to get on your plate - but this was lovely 😋 x
Veal looks yum x
