We woke up with hangovers this am, but managed to get up and out for the bus to Barcelona where we met Charlotte.
We spoke to an English couple on the bus who travel for several months twice a year - it was lovely to hear where they have been and some places where we have stayed too 😊
We were a little early for Charlotte as we didn’t really know where we were going and how long the journey would take, so went for our first coffee in a McDonalds since leaving the UK.

Charlotte then arrived looking lovely as usual, all smiles. It was raining, so we decided to go for a beer and a catch up first.

We finished our beers and were just about to move on, when the heavens opened again, and everyone was looking for shelter. So, we thought long and hard about what to do, and after 2 seconds, we all agreed that we may as well stop where we are and have another drink - this time we opted for Sangria.
The rain eventually stopped and we went for a walk - it is such an enormous city, with huge buildings and so many people everywhere !
We came across a square with lots of restaurants and selected one for lunch - once again, it was delicious.
As we wandered back to catch our bus, we saw an amazing drummer band - the conductor was great with all his emotions.

We really enjoyed our time with Charlotte and had such a lovely catch up 🥰
It was 😊 xx
Nice that you were able to meet up with Charlotte 😄xx
