Wow, day 100 already ! What have I learned while we’ve been travelling in our Motorhome all this time. Well, you need to get on well together and get over “disagreements” quickly, as you have nowhere to escape to. It’s a small space and you’re together almost every second of every minute of every hour of every day, and that’s a long time, let me tell you. Living together in an house and going to work and enjoying evenings together is just not the same. We are opposites in lots of things, opposites attract don’t they, and we have been married for nearly 32 years, so we must be doing something right. However, the differences seem to be exaggerated in this situation, or maybe you just notice them more, but the best thing to do is just smile, and not get hung up about it. The best thing about being opposites, is that we get frustrated or panicked at different things, so whilst one of us is frustrated, the other is able to calm things down and help the other to work through it.
I have also learned that I wouldn’t want to be on this journey with anyone else, Chris is my best friend and soulmate 🥰
Anyway, moving on .... we were going to move on today, but the forecast predicted a high of only 33, lower than other places we would be heading for, so we opted to stay for another night.
The vineyard stopover is such a lovely place to stay. There are large pitches, you can have your awning and chairs out, have a BBQ (they also have a BBQ you can use), there is water, sinks, a shower, toilets, electric, amazing views all around, the owners are lovely and it’s all free 😃. You also get protected by one of their dogs !

Chris made delicious omelettes for our breakfast, and BBQ chicken for tea - just lovely.

Another Motorhome joined us early evening, and a couple of locals came to say hello to them, one on his tractor ! The excited laughter we could head from the little girl, while she sat on the tractor owner’s knee and drove the tractor back and forth was just lovely and a joy to watch.
A last walk around the site before we leave tomorrow.
Ha ha - you’ve been married longer - anything to add ? x
Lovely to hear your advice for a long and happy marriage x
