2023/4 Winter Trip - Day 19 - 17/11/2023

We left Vila Real and made a brief stop at Castro Marim, which was just 5 minutes away. We walked to the windmill - Revelim de Santo António - to see the beautiful views.

We then travelled across the Guardiana International Bridge into Spain. The roads were suddenly so much busier.

We arrived in El Rocio, which is described as a filmset from a spaghetti western. Unfortunately, we were unable to park but had a little drive along the sandy roads, being careful not to get stuck in the deep sandy areas.

We made our way back into tha main road and headed to Umbrette.

We found the Motorhome stopover at Umbrete and had a walk around the lovely village, with their horse and carts and beautiful buildings.
