The church bells rang again this morning, it's lovely to hear, but the main bells rang at a quarter to the hour, not sure why that is.
We had a walk around the village, but it was only small, so it didn't take long. It's funny when we leave the Motorhome with the wheel lock on, the French always go over and have a look, they don't mention it to us, but we see them looking as we glance back. You don't tend to see the foreign vans with extra security on them, so they must think it strange.
We popped into the local boulangerie patisserie, and obviously got the order wrong. There was a customer there who let us go in front of him, and he was enjoying us trying to communicate with the lady behind the counter. He told me that she had asked if that was everything, and apparently I responded saying that I will have everything 😂
As it is Sunday and everywhere is closed, we decided to travel quite a distance, and headed south.
Thank goodness for my hoodie when Chris needed the window open 😊

Part of our route took us through Le Mans and the racetrack, quite exciting to have driven on part of it.
On we continued, passing the decorated roundabouts.
We arrived at the vineyard, where we had planned to stop the night, but wasn't sure how to get to the parking area as the shop was closed. I followed the noise of people and saw 3 French Motorhomes, and with good old Google Translate, I managed to understand. There was a bell in a basket outside the shop, which we needed to press to contact the owners, and I had totally missed it !
We parked up and had lunch, with wine this time.
After lunch we went for a little walk, and noticed that there were so many cars parked along the road. Turns out there was a market on, and it was enormous, spreading all around the village. This was obviously where all the people were - we hardly saw anyone out and about otherwise.
We came back to the stopover and the 3 French Motorhomes had left, so we were then able to move to to another spot where there was water and electricity. It is a beautiful place, and lovely to be back in the land of vineyards.
