Day 67 - 05/07/19 - Benidorm, Spain

We stayed on site today and sun bathed and read - managed to finish another book - I’ve read quite a few already.

Karaoke was on late afternoon, but there didn’t sound like many people were around, and the quality of singers wasn’t as good as it had been when we arrived on Mon, so we just listened to it from where we were.

We made our way towards the town in the evening for something to eat, and decided on a Chinese. In the restaurant we got chatting to a lovely Irish family. They keep their caravan on a site here all year around and manage to fly out about 4 tines a year - it’s a great way to holiday. They were thinking of doing what we have done a few years back, but then unexpectedly had another child - their other children had grown up - still, they may well do it at a later time.

When we got back to the Motorhome, it sounded like quite a party was going on in one of the houses backing onto the site, so we sat outside drinking and playing cards - as there was no way we would get to sleep anytime soon. We even had a little lizard join us.

A couple of friends arrived tonight as part of a group on a “boys weekend”, they had a late flight in, so we’ll wonder down to the town and see them tomorrow - we may even catch them sober 🤔
