A cup of tea with this amazig view, to start the day !

So, we left a beautiful gem and travelled onto another one. A lovely little farm in Lemuy where they make goat’s cheese, and very nice it was too. The journey there was along narrow country roads with hairpin bends, taking us up and down the mountains, with amazing views. We hardly saw any traffic, I really don’t know what roads everyone else takes, but the ones we seem to travel along, really do provide the best views.

It was another glorious day, and as we were the only Motorhome here, we just relaxed, got the canopy out and Chris sat in the shade, while I sat in the sun. By early evening, the sun had moved so much that we had to move the Motorhome, to get some shade, as even I had had my quota of sun for one day.

We sat and watched the cows continuously walk from one end of the field to the other, ringing their bells, until it was time for them to leave the field as the farmer came to move them on.

The grasshoppers were with us again, I can’t believe how loud they are. But there is one sound missing - the church bells. I can’t remember being in a place with no bells chiming every 15 mins, so today I had absolutely no idea what the time was. The beauty of it is, it really doesn’t matter what time it is, we have no schedule to follow !

It’s funny that when I came to finish writing this, the church bells started: I guess they had been there all along, but we couldn’t hear them above the sound of the cow bells.

During the evening another Motorhome joined us, with a French couple on their way to Austria.

We had a BBQ and a glass of wine to finish the day, in the company of the farmer’s dog.
