We left Wintzenheim not really knowing where we were heading. Joesph, the owner of the vineyard, gave us a postcard as a souvenir as we left and it was a picture of him many years ago !

We parked and had breakfast of bread meats and cheese, in a beautiful location beside yet another vineyard, and then consulted the map.

In the end, we decided to travel south and made our way to Kembs.

We found a stopover against the canal. As we looked into the water, we saw what looked like a beaver, but actually turned out to be a Coypu. The only difference appeared to be its tail.

We sat by the canal for the rest of the day and watched people fishing (another Santa, for those in the know !), walking, cycling and enjoyed the wildlife.

Quite a few other vans soon arrived and the parking was filling up, but luckily we had space for our BBQ.
