We left Germany today, and headed to France, crossing the Rhein and the Grand Canal d’Alsace. Again the views were lovely, and the sprinkle systems they have in their fields are absolutely enormous !

We reached the medieval village of Eguisheim, and found a free stopover right in the village.

The village is made up of 2 circular cobbled streets, which have such adorable fairytale like buildings within them. You could literally keep walking around and around without realising it.

The village also has it’s fair share of storks nested on the roofs and also on the top of the church. Today we were lucky enough to see the young in the nests too.

This evening we had a chat in English with an English couple, how about that - 2 English couples in one week, and no others for the last month !

We then went for another walk around the village in the search of some wine tasting and local food, but it was mainly snails on offer, so we came back to the Motorhome and had our usual bread, cheese, meats and our own wine !

What a pretty village, I could walk around that again and again. Enjoying your fascination and brilliant pics of the stork families x
