We have a few things on our to do list for while we are 'home', one of which was for Chris to see the doctor. He rang first thing to make an appointent, and was offered one within 2 hours with our preferred GP. His main problem had been his back while we were away. After examination, the GP gave the good news that it could be resolved through pain killers and specific exercises.
Chris then went onto to present a second problem. He had fallen a few weeks ago, and his wrist was still painful - he was sent for an xray.
He then had the cheak to mention he was overdue for a blood test, and the GP gave him a form for that too.
I was half expecting him to say 1 appointment for 1 problem !
Within a morning, Chris had got an appointment, seen the GP, had and xray and a blood test, and given pain killers - what a fantastic service.
With the travelling, we are always looking all around us and noticing the beautiful landscapes and buildings etc., and we continue to do so now we are back. I am amazed at how much I now notice that I hadn't before. One example was a mini village that had been created outside a medical centre, it represented the local area and made by a local.
We then made our way to Caenarfon, where we have been invited for an interview as assistant seasonal campsite wardens tomorrow. The sky was beautiful as we entered into Wales.
The castle was lit up for us !
We had met a couple in France a couple of times while we were away, who were from Anglesey, so we took the opportunity to meet up with them. It was lovely to see them again and discuss our travels and their future travel plans.
