Unfortunately, we have another rainy day in Germany, can’t believe the extremes.

We decided to head towards the Black Forest area, when we came across some roadworks and were forced to follow the “Umleitung” signs. We think it was at the point the sat nav then ended up taking us along the motorway, which we hadn't anticipated, so we made a diversion and found a stopover in a beautiful place called Schwäbisch Hall.

We did have a walk around the town, but the rain was so heavy, that we got drenched. Such a shame as it looked so pretty, and had lots of different roads to explore.

The Kocher River flows through the town, and today it was certainly flowing !

I don’t know what the locals do at any time - a lot of places have been so quiet 🤫 x
