During the morning quite a few coaches came past and to the shopping area - I am amazed how they travel along the narrow winding lanes, and also what a tourist trap it is in such a remote place.

We headed back down the mountain, through the stunning forest and crossed the border into France once again, passing through some pretty villages.

We stopped in La Bastide-Clairence, one of France's beautiful villages, and had a walk around there even though it was raining šŸ™

We then carried onto Dax, where we planned to spend the night. The rain continued and there were quite a lot of floods.

As we were more or less parked on a KFC car park, we treated ourselves to a KFC. It was so expensive compared to back home, but made a nice change.

It is lovely with more views in the different season - I certainly wouldn’t have been able to drive on the roads - glad Chris doesn’t seem to mind 😊 x
