We stayed in Nordlingen for a lazy day today. The forecast gave out rain for most of the day, such a shame after such a hot and sunny day yesterday. We had a quick trip to the shops for essentials (bread, cheese and beer), and managed to get back to the Motorhome before the rain started.
I got my cross stitch out this afternoon. I’ve haven’t done any for quite some time, and I can’t actually remember when I started this one. It is of a Masssai Warrior, a reminder of when we went to Kenya for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, which was 6 and a half years ago. I can’t believe how quickly time goes. That was an amazing holiday which included a safari, would love to do that again.
Watching people come and go in their Motorhomes, it is interesting how apprehensive you can feel when you arrive somewhere and there are already quite a few Motorhomes. You feel you are all alone, and that everyone already there knows each other and knows exactly what to do and where to go. When in reality, they are probably all alone just like us, albeit they can speak the language of the country we are in ! We are quickly building confidence and accepting that we are all actually in the same boat.
