Day 202 - 17/11/19 - Tomar, Portugal

It had rained overnight, and continued throughout today. Chris captured the sunrise again today.


As we made our way to Tomar, we noticed the buildings were mainly white and blue, and as new houses were being built, they actually built the grand entrances first !


We also saw more stork nests, this time on pylons - how they don't kill themselves I'll never know. I also managed to capture a couple as they flew overhead.



I love how they decorate the roundabouts in Europe, and captured a few on today's journey.


The roads were wet and long, but we managed to see the cork piled up as we have learnt, it is kept this way for about 6 months, we saw wood being burnt in charcoal burners, and many interesting buildings a long the way.
