We took some photos of the beautiful view we had woken up to this morning, and Chris even managed to capture the moon and a shooting star together !
We then made our way to Santa Susana along long straight roads, with little traffic,
We arrived at another beautiful free stopover where we intended to spend the night. We spoke to an English couple who had been travelling for 6/9 months of the year for about 8 years. It is great to speak to like minded people as we pick up so many hints and tips for travelling. The worse thing they told us, was that they had left England 2 weeks ago, and had travelled through so much rain - this was their first sunny day - looks like we need to be prepared for the rain !
We swapped some DVD and then went for a walk by the reservoir.
There was a cafe / restaurant at the top of the road as we had driven to the parking area, and we went to have a nosey. We had a drink, and then decided to have the fish and chips that were on offer. While we were having a drink, a young lad was outside playing with his football against the wall. We then went inside to have food, and the same lad then served us - he did really well and was very polite. We finished the meal off with a Portuguese desert - not sure what is was called, but it was delicious.
