Day 200 on the road - we have been to 11 countries and seen so much and met so many people - such a great experience, and it's not over yet !
We left Silves and headed to Sines. On the journey we saw so many stork nests on telegraph poles at the side of the road. It would be lovely to come back to see them when they are all nesting - what a sight that would be !
We were also lucky enough to see many Quercus suber, commonly called the cork oak. They are the primary source of cork, and is native to southwest Europe and northwest Africa . They had recently been harvested, and apparantly are only harvested every 7 to 10 years to produce the cork !
Today's journey was cross country, on quiet roads, just how we like it.
We arrived at a supermarket in Sines where we did some washing - unfortunately the dryer was not working properly, so we now have a bag of wet clothes - fortunately, we had found a stop by the beach to stay for the night, which was really windy - so we managed to dry them there.
Sines beach is just beautiful - what an amazing place to stay the night.

Every time I see them, I think of you xx
My two favourite fotos today are the avenues of trees - just lovely x
