Day 194 - 09/11/19 - Gibraltar

Chris caught the sunrise this morning over the Rock of Gibraltar.

I couldn’t leave Gibraltar without seeing the monkeys and the fantastic views from the Rock, so we went back in.

I went up in the cable car 🚠. It was packed, but I took a few photos going up.

As soon as the cable car stopped, a monkey immediately latched onto the front window and actually went into the cable car as everyone was getting off. I moved away and started to make my way up some steps to a viewing point, when the monkey jumped on my head and wouldn’t get off - I didn’t manage to get a selfie, but lots of strangers were taking photos / videos - I should have charged for the entertainment 🐒

The views from the Rock were as amazing as I had expected - you could see for miles (as long as your hair wasn't blowing across your face ! )

I came back down and met Chris for a drink of English Pride, while we could, and then went for lunch, having a Guinness and a delicious burger - served with black gloves - a new one on me ! - I didn’t actually see anyone using them, but I guess some people do 🤔

Before leaving Gibraltar I had a new pandora charm made especially for Gibraltar - I shall always remember the monkey on my head when I look at it on my bracelet.

We then walked back over to the Motorhome in Spain and watched the sun going down again
