Woke up to Chris watching a woodpecker, so I grabbed my camera and took a photo through the window so I wouldn't disturb it - such beautiful colours.

We went to have a look around the town, again such beautiful buildings, so quirky and colourful. Some of the walls of the buildings are so slanted, the photos don't do them justice, but it just adds to the character of the town. There were quite a few groups of tourists in the town today, some even spoke English, which is novel.

The town is surrounded by a wall which you can walk around, and even go into parts of the towers and gatehouses. You can see the markings on the gatehouses where they could close the town off completely. I did walk part of the wall, while Chris kept his feet well on the ground !

While we were in town, quite unexpectedly, we spotted some bike seats. They looked much more compfortable than the ones we have, and were very cheap - we like a good bargain !

We also brought some more rolls, meats, cheeses and amazing cakes for lunch. A friend of mine, Charlotte Foster, was starting a new show on 6 Towns Radio (Friday's 11am to 1pm), and I was hoping to catch the show. I sent her a photo of our lunch, and got a shout out on the radio. Apparantly everyone else started sending her food photos, and we began to hear her tummy rumble on the radio - well, she is on the lunchtime slot !

During the afternoon, the sun came out in all it's glory, so we made the most of it soaking up the rays.

Chris then took his drone up for some arial photos.

Finally, a beautiful end to a beautiful day.
