Day 141 - 17/09/19 - Carcassonne, France

We left Palavas-les-Flots and made our way to Carcassonne, a mixture of green and dry land, and happened to be following the “Route des Vins Du Minervois”, so lots of vineyards !

We settled in at Carcassonne and chilled for a few hours before walking along the path to the Citadel. Wow - it was enormous and you could walk all around it, and then we had the surprise of finding lots of shops and restaurants inside the walls - an absolutely beautiful place.
