We left Monticello D’Ongina - I’m not sure how far the caterpillar traveled with us !
We headed towards the south coast, after filling up with fuel and stocking up with food.
We both picked a stopover out that looked good - it was a good job that Chris looked into it a bit more, as we had been there before and it was nothing like the photos / reviews, and we had just had a quick look around and moved on - so glad we didn’t head for there again 🙄
We stopped at Vado Ligure, and had a wonder around. It was quite a busy holiday resort, and it looked like to get to the beach, you had to go through the bars, who seemed to have their own bit of the beach. There was a public area at one end of the bars, but it was quite pebbly.
There were quite a few ‘Apes’ around, which I do love.
We were going to stay the night, but decided to move on. We weren’t too far from Mombarcaro, where we had stayed about 3 weeks ago, and loved it there, so we headed back to spend a relaxing couple of nights in the mountains.
During the journey, we saw carts transporting what we assume was coal, above us !
We travelled on some of the “roads on stilts” - very scary.
We then reached the smaller roads again and began climbing to Mombarcaro.
We parked up, and went to have a beer in the only bar in the village 😁

We then went back to the Motorhome to watch the sun go down - beautiful 🥰
