I woke up this morning with aching calves, after yesterday’s hill climb - it was worth it though 😊

We could only stay in Brentino for 48 hours, so had to move on unfortunately. Before we left, we saw the grapes being picked from the local vines, and a young lad loving the farmer’s tractor.

We made our way to Simione, on the south of Lake Garda. The farmers are our in force at the moment - obviously a busy time for them all.

We managed to get a parking space on the edge of Lake Garda - beautiful views. We had a walk around Simione, such a lovely place, and so busy, obviously a very popular place to visit. While we were there, we had the most enormous ice-cream which was delicious 😋

We left Simione, and headed on, on our journey towards Monticello D’Ongina, where we had planned to spend the night.

The Italian roads are so bad in some areas, I felt I should have worn my sports bra !
