Day 127 - 03/09/19 - Fusina, Italy

Last night we had a dramatic electrical storm - lots of lightning and wind, but no thunder or rain, it was amazing to watch.

Despite the storm, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise 😃.

We had yet another relaxing morning and Chris cooked sausages on the BBQ for lunch.

Late afternoon we made our way to catch the ferry over to Venice. As we were early, we had a beer at the little bar by the port.

We then caught the ferry over to Venice, it was much quieter today.

We were greeted by such a talented musician playing “glasses” so perfectly.

When we were in Venice the other day, we had walked by a beautiful restaurant and we were determined to find it to have a meal today. We walked and walked trying to find it, bearing in mind, we didn’t really know where it was and hadn’t taken a particular route, so couldn’t retrace our steps. We had walked nearly 4 miles and were about to give up and eat somewhere else, when we turned a corner, and there it was - you should have seen the relief on Chris’ face 😃

We had the set menu with wine, finished off with coffee.

We made our way back to catch the ferry and had an ice cream whilst we were waiting for it

to arrive.
