Day 126 - 02/09/19 - Fusina, Italy

We had a lovely day chilling by the Motorhome, taking advantage of the pitch we had right on the edge of the Lagoon. We saw kayaks, small private boats, small ferries and then the tugs going out to bring in the much larger boats- it still amazes me how they float 🤔

As the evening arrived, we watched as Venice and the sky behind us changed colour - absolutely stunning 😊

We then went for pasta and wine in the campsite restaurant. It wasn’t as good as we had hoped, which was such a shame, as we had been looking forward to eating in there. They had taken the ‘Typical Venetian Bites’ dish off the menu, and had no specials left ☹️. The service was terrible too - they brought Chris’ meal out and then 3/4 minutes later, they brought mine - they weren’t very busy, and we only had pasta, so we weren’t sure why there was such a delay 🙄. Never mind, it was very tasty especially with the chilli and garlic 😋.
