Day 124 - 31/08/19 - Veneto, Italy

Chris caught the sun appearing behind a huge boat as it passed by the campsite this morning.

We moved to another campsite a little further around the coast.

It is a a shame to see so many derelict buildings at the side of the road, I wonder what stories are behind those doors 🤔

The vineyards were busy with both manual workers and machinery today.

We arrived at the campsite during siesta, and whilst we were able to check in, no vehicles could enter or leave the site during siesta. The swimming pool was also closed and there should be no noise during this time. I’ve never known this on a campsite before !

The site was great for families, and during the evening so many large tables were set up amongst the campers, where the families were gathering for their evening meal.

We had a walk to the beach and managed to capture the dramatic sky - just beautiful 😊
