Day 122 - 29/08/19 - Fusina, Italy

We woke up suffering from last night; we both had hangovers and we were covered in bites. Oh well, we had breakfast and went to get our tickets to visit Venice for the day as planned.

Luckily, it wasn’t rough, the ferry didn’t rock too much. We had been a little worried with feeling delicate this morning.

We got off the ferry and had a lovely 6 mile walk around Venice. It is beautiful, the amazing buildings, canals, gondolas, art, music (couldn’t take photos in this museum), narrow streets, food displays in the fruit and fish market - all stunning !

When we decided we had walked enough, we asked google to get us back to the ferry, where we had a meal in a typical Italian restaurant followed by an ice cream - delicious 😋

On the way back on the ferry, we had to wait o let once if the enormous boats go by.

Back on the campsite, the space opposite us had been vacated, so we enjoyed the view of the Lagoon and the boats !

Another beautiful end to another beautiful day 🥰
