We left the campsite, and I had one last look at the pool - it was so inviting.

We headed to a camp shop. Chris had fitted USB points above the beds before we came away. However, I must have been a little too heavy handed with mine, and part of it dropped down from its fitting. Chris then glued it back in, but unfortunately broke something inside, and now it doesn’t work at all 🙄. We found the camping shop, but no joy there - never mind, I’m sure he’ll come up with something 😊
We then went on to the Piaggio museum. Since I saw Bruno in his Ape at the Lambec visitor centre in Belguim, I have been fascinated by them, and as we were so close, it was only right to go and have a look.
This afternoon we had planned to go to the port for the night, but the temperature was rising, reaching 40 degrees again, so it was going to be far to hot there, and we decided that this was as far south as we could go for now.
We started to make our way to the north. We soon reached 780m, the temperature dropped to 22 and it started to rain - talk about extremes !
We made our way to a beautiful stopover by the side of a lake - well, that was what the information reported, but you just never know until you get there, as we have found out many times on our journey so far.
The roads had been winding already, and then we reached a diversion from the main road, where there had been a landslide. The diversion road was even more winding and so narrow, testing Chris’ driving skills.
We reached the lake, and it was beautiful. There was a little bar there, and the lady “Lucy”, I assume, as that was the name of the bar, had Italian music playing so loud and was dancing along to it - she really was having a ball ! We had a beer to support the bar, as you do 😉, and then went back to the Motorhome and watched the sky change as the sun went down.

Enjoyed the tour of the museum x
Thank you Helen x
I love vehicles by Ape too. I saw American Pickers unearth a WWII Ape bike/trailer. It was wonderful. Your pics of their machines are awesome. Very inspiring xx
