Day 119 - 26/08/19 - San Giuliano Terne, Italy

So today we took the bus to Lucca. Not too far to the bus stop, but such a dangerous road, full of Italian drivers 🤣

Lucca is bigger than we had thought it would be. Had a lovely walk around, and then had some pizza, beer and expresso in the main square, finished off with a delicious ice cream while walking back to catch the bus.

The bus we need actually goes to Pisa, and we have heard that there really is only the tower to see, so thought we may as well stay on the bus to Pisa. Another English couple were on the bus with us, going to see the tower. We got really close, but the driver never stopped, so we got off as soon as we could, and had a 20 minute walk back 🙄

It wasn’t as tall as I had expected, but it is true what they say - it is leaning 🙈

We had a look around the souvenir market stalls, and then caught the bus back to the campsite. We were so hot again, so it was a no brainier but to have a cool off in the pool, before having lasagne for tea !
