We did some food shopping before we left Serravalle, and I treated myself to a haircut - I was a little worried trying to explain what I wanted to an Italian hairdresser, but it turned out fine 😊

We then wanted to make our way to Pisa, and decided to try the Italian toll road. We were really impressed. We covered about 170km over 2 hours travelling time and it cost £22.50. Very easy and straight forward to use.

We still had views which we hadn’t expected with it being a toll road. There were also some very long tunnels cut straight through mountains which were quite old.

We made our way to a campsite where we intended to chill for a few days and make use of their free washing machines. We managed to use both machines as they were free, but did get them just in time as quite a few people tried to use them afterwards. We saved the other 2 loads of washing for tomorrow.

We have a lovely view of the mountains from our pitch on the site with one of the tiniest caravans I have ever seen, on the next pitch !
