We left Comprégnac and travelled back down the hill, drove through Peyre and then under the Millau viaduct. Chris feeling much safer driving under the bridge !

We passed quite a few areas with private houses, and we did wonder where everyone works who lives here in the middle of nowhere. Well, we soon found the answer, as we approached Millau. It was an enormous town, quite unexpected as we had driven through so much countryside and then this large town appeared right in front of us.

There were quite a few large “gypsy” sites in this area and further on our journey today - we must have seen at least 4 !

We drove alongside the river Tarn, although it was many many metres below. The river is very popular for Kayaking.

The roads were quite narrow along the cliff edge and with the rock jutting out across the road, it made for a nerve-racking journey 🙈

We stopped at the village of Sainte-Enimie, which was again a very beautiful village. It was very busy, and the main restaurants were full. We brought a baguette for later and had a mouth-watering burger for lunch in a quaint place in one of the alleyways, followed with an ice cream - not sure we’ll need the baguette after that lot !

We left Sainte-Enimie, and travelled up and down the mountains with hairpin bends towards Langogne, where we had seen a veal farm offering Motorhome stopovers.

We arrived at the farm, where there were signs for the parking. We then went to see if we could find someone, but only found a note saying that the owners would come and say hello either during the evening or morning, when they were available.

We settled down for the evening; me enjoying the sunshine and Chris in the shade !
