We dried the remaining washing from yesterday while having a lazy morning, and then set off to travel through Andorra. The roads were quite winding as we climbed.

The views are beautiful - it’s hard to imagine it covered in snow for skiing - how can it be so hot and then so cold - I imagine the views would be amazing at all times throughout the year.
We reached a peak of 2500m and came across a place where cars and Motorhomes were parked, and we pulled over. We weren’t sure if it was an official stopover as we have no phone service in Andorra, so couldn’t check. Whilst the sun was still out, the temperature was only 21, with a little breeze - Chris was in his element, and much more relaxed.
We saw a couple having a good look at our Motorhome and went over to them. They were a French couple and impressed that we have a Peugeot Motorhome - they said that you can’t buy them in France ! They also mentioned that it was really cold here at night - that made Chris' mind up to stay.
There was a restaurant nearby, so we thought we’d check it out and see if they had WiFi to find out if we could actually sleep here. Unfortunately, it was 4pm and they had stopped serving food as they close at 5pm. Never mind, we had a drink and made use of their WiFi.

We spoke to a family from the Netherlands, who seemed quite nice, but then he got on to Brexit and also how all the English want to do is get drunk (this was from a single experience he had had in an English restaurant), I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, I found him really rude and was glad when he left.
Whilst on the WiFi, we found that we could indeed stay here for the night, so we did 😁
We found a better parking spot, and had bread, cheese and wine and waited for the sun to go down.
An English 4*4 Motorhome came on, and Chris went over to take a look and we spoke to the couple in it. They were newly weds on their way to Cape Town, getting a ferry from Barcelona to Morocco- how exciting !

We settled down for the night and I finished a book my boss gave me when I left work; “A pair of glasses and their brown trouser moments” by David Glass - it is hilarious and a must read for all Motorhomers - my boss obviously knew me well, it was a very thoughtful and so appropriate leaving gift.

So glad Chris can enjoy the cooler sunny weather x
