Today we walked around the area, as most places were closed when we walked there last night. There weren't many people around either - I don't know how the bars and restaurants manage to survive.

We then visited the market selling fresh produce - they really take pride in their displays.

The local cake was delicious 😋

We were lucky enough to have another beautiful sunset, and see the colours change over the river Guadiana.

During the evening we walked around the village and had a drink in a local bar. There were quite a few locals eating there and I asked what the dishes were. The owner told me; pork cheeks, chicken liver and chicken heart. I replied saying that they all looked nice, but I wasn't so sure now. He promptly went away and brought back some pork cheeks, and I must say, it was so tasty and tendor - a real surprise as I thought it would be quite tough!
