Woke up to a gorgeous sunrise.

We emptied and filled up with water, before leaving the aire. We headed north towards the mountains, over some bridges, one of which was particularly narrow and rickety.

The last few miles of road were so bumpy, we were surprised nothing got broken in the cupboards (well, we haven't noticed anything yet!)

At one point, we travelled through mist above the Blue Dragon River at Odiiltte, which we originally thought was either a fire or the clouds.

We arrived at Sao Domingos, today's destination, and tried to park up by the lake, but they no longer allowed Motorhomes there, so we moved closer to the village, where we could stay. They are also building a brand new aire with services, so there will be lots of spaces for campers and Motorhomes in the future.

We then made our way to the abandoned copper mine - quite a vast area with many derelict out buildings.

We then continued our walk around the deserted village.

We watched the sun go down and then finished the evening in a small bar, which used to be a school. We were given peanuts and beans with our wine, and it wasn't until Chris and Christine had both eaten one, that the barmaid explained that you only eat the insides 😂
