Had a great sleep, it was a little parking area right on the edge of the village, across from publics loos, and near to the emergency services, so it felt very safe.
Whilst we had a lovely sunset last night we were surprised to find that it had rained a little overnight, and was quite overcast this morning. Before leaving the village we had another little walk, taking in the stunning views.
We then made the short drive to our next stop.
We arrived in Estoi mid morning, and took a stroll around the village, taking in the 'Palacio de Estoi', and ending the stroll with coffee and the biggest ham and cheese toastie we have ever seen 😋
With our bellies full, we then carried on our journey.
We ended up driving into a couple of really busy towns - Loule and Faro - I didn't capture them on my phone, as I was not enjoying them at all, and had to use both hands to grip my arm rests, as we negotiated our way down the narrow roads with cars parked everywhere 🙈
We eventually found a place to stop in Olhai. The first place had what we think were homeless men trying to direct you into parking spaces for money. We didn't feel safe leaving the Motorhomes there, and the local police directed us to another place we could park up and stay.
It still didn't feel the best here, but there were more Motorhomes which does help in making you feel safer.
We walked along the front which was quite modern and touristy, before making our way through the maze of back streets with the more traditional buildings.
Stopover Information

I agree with the parking situation in Alhão. However, if you still can make it, try to visit the local market hall. You will not be disappointed.
