Day 3 - 02/05/19 - Dunkirk Beach / Estaimpuis (Belgium)

We thought we’d make our way to Dunkirk Beach. We are still getting used to driving on the right, and had to use quite a few of the smaller roads and roundabouts which is a little stressful, not sure if it’s more stressful for Chris as the driver, or me as the passenger 🙈.

We arrived at the beach, but it was quite dull and windy, so just had a quick look before moving on.

We then made our way to Belgium as we are heading for the Tour de Gueze in Brussels. We found a lovely canal side pub with services (emptying the used water, toilet and filling up the water tank).

We were not sure at first if we were in the right place, and if it was even open as there is a lot of groundwork going on, but when we went to check, we found it was a lovely pub and everyone was so friendly, even though only one person could speak English. Luckily Google Translate was a great help.

They had quite a selection of beers, each served in their own special glasses, and we sampled a few. They only served half pints measures, and we soon realised why - they were so high percentage wise - something to be aware of !
