We woke to beautiful sunshine this morning, and ventured to the beach with Tami and Tony. It was further away than everyone thought, but it was a lovely walk, and the most beautiful beach greeted us.
We had a paddle in the sea and walked along the shore to the next village.
The village was typically quiet as we have come used to. there were interesting wooden sculptures and the Cournet de Messanges which led to the sea.
There were quite a few restaurants in the village, so we decided to have lunch - Tami and Chris opted for the fish option, and Tony and I had the “meat” - no idea what it was and I think I’d rather not know, although it was tasty. We shared a jug of sangria to go with it !
We then walked back to the campsite and had a chill, before I went for another little walk - somehow, Chris manages to record far more steps and miles than I do, even though we walk side by side !
In the evening we had a BBQ, the weather turned, but we carried on as the typical British do, having a BBQ in the rain, thunder and lightning 😃
